Troubleshooting of operational issues
The correct way to set is :
Rotate the timer knob clockwise to the maximum scale (such as 55 minutes), and then counterclockwise to the required time to ensure that the spring is normally charged.
Avoid direct counterclockwise rotation, otherwise it may cause the spring to fail to wind up.

Spray the gear set with rust remover or scrub the oil sludge with gasoline/alcohol, with a focus on cleaning the escapement fork pins and the balance wheel shaft holes.
After drying, add sewing machine oil to the shaft hole. Do not add oil to the gears to avoid increasing damping.
